Amazonas

Amazonas is an exploration game. Each player is a biology researcher in the Amazon rainforest, building research huts at various sites to collect samples of tropical wildlife. After choosing a starting site, players build along the forest and water routes, trying to reach four specific sites marked on their goal cards--their funding source wants to see research from these four sites. Players gain an income each turn which they can use to build research huts, and collected samples earn victory points once the game ends. New event cards each round offer bonus income or threaten forest fires, jaguars, crocodiles, or stealing monkeys.
