Bang!

Bang is a Wild West shootout card game. It's kind of like Mafia in that each player has a hidden role (save for the sheriff, whose role is public). The sheriff and his deputies want to kill the outlaws and the renegade, the outlaws want to kill the sheriff, and the renegade wants to be the last man standing. Players also have character cards that give them special abilities and determine how many life points they start with.

Gameplay occurs with a deck of a third type of card. These cards give players longer-ranged guns, defenses like barrels, options to regain life points, and ways to attack other players. By default, players can only shoot one position to the left or right around the circle, but new guns extend this range, and some cards allow for attacks on anyone in the circle.

The game ends when a player's role-assigned goal is met. A player can win even if dead. Yet the dead player can't do anything but watch while the game finishes, and that might take a while--this is the most significant weakness of the game.
